Configuration

To add the D-Link Wi-Fi Smart Plugs device to your Home Assistant instance, use this My button:

D-Link Wi-Fi Smart Plugs can be auto-discovered by Home Assistant. If an instance was found, it will be shown as Discovered. You can then set it up right away.

Manual configuration steps

If it wasn’t discovered automatically, don’t worry! You can set up a manual integration entry:

  • Browse to your Home Assistant instance.

  • Go to Settings > Devices & Services.

  • In the bottom right corner, select the Add Integration button.

  • From the list, select D-Link Wi-Fi Smart Plugs.

  • Follow the instructions on screen to complete the setup.

Supported devices (tested):

  • DSP-W215
  • DSP-W110

Password: The default password is the PIN included on the configuration card or on the back of the unit.

Use the legacy protocol in case the D-Link Wi-Fi Smart Plugs does not work. This enables limited support for legacy firmware protocols (Tested with v1.24, v1.26). Data such as power consumption will not be available. The temperature will also show a freezing level.
