International Space Station (ISS)

The International Space Station (ISS) integration uses the Open Notify API to let you know where the station is.

It will also tell you how many people are in space.

Configuration

To add the International Space Station (ISS) service to your Home Assistant instance, use this My button:

Manual configuration steps

If the above My button doesn’t work, you can also perform the following steps manually:

  • Browse to your Home Assistant instance.

  • Go to Settings > Devices & Services.

  • In the bottom right corner, select the Add Integration button.

  • From the list, select International Space Station (ISS).

  • Follow the instructions on screen to complete the setup.

Note

If you enable “Show on map” in the options for this integration then the location attributes are named latitude and longitude. The default name of the location attributes is lat and long to avoid showing them on the map.
